Remember the spark, as your hand caught mine;

Pulling closer, you fit tightly against my chest as you faced the stage

My head resting atop yours as you pushed your body perfectly into mine,

Your soft hair running like crisp summer breeze down my arm,

You pulled my arms to wrap gently around you

Strangers only moments before, the chorus cuts in

Your energy coursing through me, as mine through you

And for one moment in time, burned forever in my mind

To remember so fondly, even with the ruin that later came

Of our energy crashing the shores, and pushing us forth

It would fork, you one way and I another…

But ill always remember our concert together, and the time that would follow

To the cold winters evening after catastrophe, as we lay twined together staring out the window at the snowflakes…near the fireplace

To the moment we would touch again for the first time…to the day we touched for the last

Now, nothing but a memory, but one ill cherish forever and I only hope you see it as beautifully.
