Hey folks, especially the experienced ones here 👋
I’ve recently started a small business where I assemble and sell a product. Here’s the basic math:
Product cost (including everything): $19
Selling price: $30
Profit per unit: ~$11
I usually order 5 units at a time, so the total cost is $95. After selling all 5 units, I make a total profit of around $55.
Now the issue is — as soon as I finish selling, I need to place the next order. And I just end up using the $55 profit again to restock. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop where I’m making sales and profit, but not actually accumulating any cash or growing my stock.
Has anyone faced something like this before? What would you suggest I do to break out of this cycle and scale a bit?
Any tips or experience would really help! Thanks in advance 🙏
