The Moon (a short poem by me)

The Moon

Oh how i hate the moon

For i am the sun

I must sit

I must watch

I must see

How the moon turns and shines

How Its beauty blinds

Surrounded by stars

Shimmering through the scars

While i watch with hatred

Because the moon, oh so sacred

Lives without me, elated

The moon once connected with me

Insisted it be set free

Must leave me and go to look at the sea

For it thinks i interfere with its glee

The moon and sun

Once together as one

But the twine has been undone

Still i wait in the late noon

Just hoping to catch a glimpse

Of the moon.
