​The US voting ballot should have the option to pick “literally anybody else” which will result in a person being selected by a random lottery.

I know, another post about last nights electoral debate. But hear me out on this one;

Right now voters in the United States basically have a choice of “who of these two candidates do I hate the least?”. What if there was a third option; “Literally any other person”?

All people in the United States who fit the following criteria will join in a raffle;

Needs to hold the United States Nationality

Needs to be above the age of 21 but under the age of 65

Doesn’t have any serious or recent convictions on his or her criminal record.

Is currently not in a physical or mental state that would make him or her unfit to work.

A random person will be selected and if he or she meets the criteria to become president and accepts the job, this person will be the next president of the United States.

This person could be anybody. A highly educated lawyer or doctor, or a janitor or stay at home mom. This person can be of any gender, or any race and from any socioeconomic background.

If the prospect of any random person becoming president beats the prospect of either of the two current candidates, this should be an alternative option.
