My completed third chapter of my fictional crime story “A Ruthless, Murderous Product”

Chapter Three: Parturition

Sunday, November 12, 1978, 7:03 PM, Brownsville, Texas, United States.

Outside of a local birthing center, there’s workers smoking on their breaks. It was a warm and quiet evening. Inside, there were six medical workers in a delivery room with a pregnant woman and her husband. He helped his wife by holding her hand. Painful sounds of screaming, crying, and moaning made from the woman. Finally, the wife let out the crying baby and the workers did their medical work. One of the medical workers raised their wrist and looked at their watch to put the time of the birth.

[medical worker 1] “Let’s see… umm. 7:03 PM.” [medical worker 2] “Congrats, Mrs. and Mr. Bluestone. You two are the proud parents of a baby boy.” [Mr. Bluestone] “Yes, oh my god. Martha, we have a boy.” [medical worker 2] “What name would you like to give your baby?” [Mr. Bluestone] “Gael. What would you think, honey?” [Mrs. Bluestone] “Actually, it sounds like a name that I haven’t heard of till now. I liked it, Walter. We should name him that.” [Mr. Bluestone] “Ok, Martha.” [Mrs. Bluestone] “Yes, honey. Ah, thank goodness. Hey there, my litle boy.” [medical worker 3] “Yeah. . big step of life, huh?” [Mr. Bluestone] “Yeah… I actually wanted to start a family. I began to have that life goal of mine when I was 16 years old back in 66′. It just happened right now and I’m proud of it. I really am proud of myself.” [medical worker 3] “Well, I started a family. It’s not intentional. My condom broke and you know the usual story of those people… uh… you know… having unwanted pregnancies. I have that story. God, I messed up but my partner wanted us to keep the baby and even get married. So, we kept the baby and got married in Albuquerque. That’s where I came from but my wife’s family is here in Brownsville. I decided to move here with her. So, yeah. There’s that…” [Mr. Bluestone] “Well, I’m glad you planned it out after that., It must’ve been difficult for you.”

After a few hours had passed, in a faint lighted room where the parents and the baby child were. Mr. Bluestone left the birth room and went to the restroom. A 1972 pop song called “Dancing in the Moonlight” by King Harvest, was filtering the speakers. It echoed mostly in the restroom area. Bluestone got inside the stall and took out a cigarette. He ignited it and smoked it while using the toilet. He took out his glasses and wiped the sweat from his forehead. A man entered the restroom and started to cough a little. While Bluestone was smoking his cigarette, he checked the time on his watch. It’s now 7:25. A few minutes later, he was done using the stall and left it with a still lit cigarette on his lips. He pulled out and extinguished it with the sink water on. Then he later threw it in the trash bin. He left the restroom.
