​Mystery mail. Yellow hook like object about 8 inches long. Curved end similar to dentist X-Ray piece, and other end has a hole meant to be tightened and attached to a pipe it appears

Received this object in the mail with no other clarifying information. I didn’t order it and no I know says they ordered it, have no idea what the purpose of it is. Anybody ever seen anything like it? Some guesses were a portable coat hook, or some kind of chin holder?
