Hear me out. We’re not in our best form when waiting for our plane at the gate. But that’s kind of the point. Like Mark Twain said, if you want to know if you like or hate someone, travel with them. Here you don’t really travel together, but you share some part of the journey. You’re there in the airport, bored but also can’t stay for too long, and you open the app and you swipe through the profiles of other travellers around. If you get a match, you meet at one of the cafes or waiting areas, have a chat about destinations, travels, experiences in person. If you can have a good time with each other under those conditions, you can have good relationships later too.
